Please note that the Meeting House has opened on a limited basis where the first ‘blended’ Meeting for Worship took place in August 2020. To participate in the Meeting for Worship on a Sunday (10:30) please contact the Clerk of the Meeting. Strict social distancing and hygiene measures are in place. The Clerk of the Meeting can be rung for guidance; joining details will be given once email communication has been established. All of the above arrangements will be subject to periodic review, following Trustees guidance.
Quakerism has been described as “more a journey than a destination”. At the heart of this journey is our Meeting for Worship. This is centred on a silent waiting and listening where we can be open to feeling a presence, which Friends have described as God, the Spirit or the Light. This quietness may be interspersed with a participant in the Meeting feeling led to give spoken Ministry.
We warmly invite you to come and join us for our Meeting for Worship wherever you are on your spiritual journey.
Children are very welcome and have their own activities
