‘Faith in Action’ is a core part of the Quaker tradition. We try to live our lives as a pattern of integrity to the world. There are many ways that Friends manifest their faith. Follow the link below for a list of some of the ways that happens.

Ever wondered what Quakers are – and what they actually ‘do’? In our pressured and noisy modern life, we take time out to sit in silence and wait for the healing power and force for good to emerge. With our hearts and minds actively listening (rather than thinking) we can gain spiritual insight and often the way before us is clearer than it was before; if we believe it will be helpful to others, we stand and share what we have learned.
Key spiritual insights, often called “testimonies”, tend to unite Quakers worldwide. They spring from deep experience and have been reaffirmed by successive generations of Quakers. These testimonies are to integrity, equality, simplicity, community, stewardship of the Earth, and peace.
10.30am – 11:30am on the 2nd and last Sundays each month – at the Quaker Meeting House, 289 High Street, Berkhamsted, HP4 1AJ.
